CINEMATOGRAPHY PRACTICAL TASK!

  CINEMATOGRAPHY PRACTICAL TASK: PRACTICAL VIDEO:  https://youtu.be/eIbnRBSv3Uk We recorded this practical task on an iPhone 13. I believe this was the most difficult task out all that we have done because of how out video was recorded in a place where the shots were difficult to be taken. Shooting different shots without having long jump cuts in between is very difficult especially when you have only two people. We tried to include as many shots as we could such as long, medium, close up, POV and tilt potentially even more. The scenes were also very difficult as there was a height difference of the bridge and the ground.   CINEMATOGRAPHY BLOG TASK ANALYSIS: Find the opening sequence to a film or TV drama of your choice on YouTube and e mbed the video in a blogpost called 'Cinematography blog tasks'.  Write an analysis of the cinematography in the opening sequence.   Highlight your use of media language and try to cover camera sh ots, angles and movement using the terminology we have learned in lessons. Initially , when the scene starts it starts with a dolly shot , as it walks to the subject which is the "missing poster" and it zooms while its walking towards it. When the narrator starts to tell the story about the "single drop of sunlight" , Birds eye view shot is used where you can see everything from the top. When the women come to grab the glowing flower, a medium shot is used. A long shot of the setting is used when the narrator starts to talk about what's happening now "centuries past" .
